Here is what’s happening in the Twin Cities this weekend.
Uptown Porch Fest 🎙
About: The Uptown prochfest is a summer staple featuring 68 bands performing on 33 different porches, yards, and stages. This free festival is a perfect way to explore Uptown's unique blend of historic charm and contemporary culture.
Date & Time: August 17, 2024, 1pm - 5pm
Location: Porches and yards throughout Uptown, Minneapolis (view the map here)

What to Expect:
- Music Galore: From local indie bands to jazz ensembles, there’s a genre for everyone. Wander through the neighborhood to discover your new favorite artists. Explore the full music line-up here.
- Family-Friendly Fun: Kids can enjoy music-themed activities at Mueller Park from 2:30pm to 4:30pm, making it a great outing for families.
- Local Eats: Grab a bite from food vendors stationed throughout the festival area, starting at noon.
- Easy Access: Don’t worry about parking—free bus passes are available to help you get to and from the event with ease. Public transportation is encouraged.
- BYOB: While no alcohol will be sold on-site, attendees are welcome to bring their own beverages to enjoy responsibly.
Minnesota Craft Beer Festival 🍻
Unlimited Pours of the Country's Best Beers at the Summer Minnesota Craft Beer Festival
Head to CHS Field on Saturday for the Summer Minnesota Craft Beer Festival, a perfect way to spend a summer day with great music, games, and unlimited pours of the nation’s best craft beverages. The event will feature more than 100 craft beverage companies offering 400+ beers, ciders, craft cocktails, seltzers, and even NA beers.
Other Activities: The festival will also have many activities on the baseball field including Saints Speed Pitch game, cornhole, ladder golf, Connect 4, and music rom a live DJ.
Tickets
- General Admission: $49 – Includes entry at 2:00 p.m. and unlimited pours from 2:00-5:00 p.m.
- Designated Driver Ticket: $25 – Entry for non-drinkers, allowing access to all the fun minus the alcohol. (21+ only)
