Here is what’s happening in the Twin Cities this weekend.
Aquatennial Weekend 🌊
The Minneapolis Aquatennial is back this weekend, running from July 24 to July 27. This annual festival celebrates the city’s lakes and rivers with a variety of events, parades, and activities for all ages.
Wednesday, July 24
- Aquatennial Torchlight Parade: 7:30 PM, from 12th Street to 4th Street. Enjoy floats, bands, and street performances as they parade through downtown Minneapolis.
- Twin Cities River Rats Aquatennial Water Ski Show: 6:30 PM, West Bank of the Mississippi River.
- Movies in the Park: 9:00 PM, The Commons. Enjoy a screening of "Barbie" in a beautiful outdoor setting.
Thursday, July 25
- Downtown Thursdays: 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM, Nicollet. Food trucks, music, and games.
- CorePower Outdoor Yoga Class: 5:30 PM, Boom Island Park. Join a free yoga class and unwind in nature.
- Go Outside: Movie Night at Target Field Station: 7:00 PM. Catch a free showing of "Wonka."
Friday, July 26
- Alchemy 365 at Aquatennial: 5:30 PM, Minneapolis Sculpture Garden. A free cardio class suitable for all fitness levels.
- Warehouse District Live: 7:00 PM - 3:00 AM, 1st Avenue North. Enjoy food trucks and live music.
Saturday, July 27
- Day of Music at Orchestra Hall: 9:00 AM - 11:00 PM. Participate in backstage tours and enjoy live performances.
- Target Fireworks: 10:00 PM, West River Parkway. This stunning fireworks display is one of the best in the nation. Arrive early for the best viewing spots!
- Pre-fireworks Festivities: Starting at 6:00 PM, enjoy live music and a Kids Zone along the West River Parkway.
