🍿Highland Popcorn: I’m late to the party on this, but did you know there is a popcorn store in Highland Park that employs people with disabilities? Highland Popcorn promises “Popcorn With Personality.” Check out their feature in WCCO from this past winter.

🍗Butcher & The Boar Backyard Bash: Enjoy bratwursts, footlongs, ribs, pulled pork sammies, burgers, fries and cheese curds while rocking along to live music at this backyard party. The event is free. More info.

🍕Grab a slice from Zorbaz: If you have a cabin in northern MN, you’ve probably eaten at, or at least heard of, Zorbaz. The restaurant recently landed itself on a New York Times list of best pizzas — a list that features 15 restaurants from nearly every continent.

Nokomis Farmer’s Market

Many of the metro’s Farmers Markets take place on weekends. The major Minneapolis Farmers Market and the St. Paul Farmers market along with a number of neighborhood markets fill that space nicely. But weekday markets have wonderful variety of fresh produce and flower, entertainment and food.

When: Each Wednesday from 4:00pm- 8:00pm. Wednesday is a perfect opportunity to catch up on shopping and spend a quality summer afternoon with friends and neighbors! Lot of options for produce, ready made food, baked goods, crafts and more.
