Paris in Minneapolis

In honor of the U.S. Gymnastics Olympic Trials taking place in downtown Minneapolis, Nicollet Mall will transform into Promenade du Nord, a Parisian street fair featuring a market with over 60 local vendors, outdoor dining, street performers, gymnastics demonstrations, music, and more.

A spectacular stage with the water basin of Peavey Plaza will host appearances by artistic gymnastics from Sweden, Switzerland, and Minnesota’s own Circus Juventas.

Twin Cities Pride 🌈 

The Twin Cities Pride Festival is Minnesota’s second largest festival and the largest FREE Pride festival. Highlighting the best in LGBTQIA+ entertainment on 4 stages, featuring over 650 vendors, including LGBTQIA+ & BIPOC community resources, artists, and businesses. 

When: Saturday, June 29th 10am – 7pm & Sunday, June 30th 10am – 6pm
Location: Loring Park, Minneapolis, Minnesota

The main Twin Cities Pride parade takes place on Sunday at 11am. The parade starts at 3rd & Hennepin and proceeds down Hennepin to Spruce.

🍰 Crepes in Linden Hills: Oh Crêpe! has opened in what used to be the original Caribou Coffee on 44th and France Avenue. The new shop features a variety of crepes, both savory and sweet, as well as other cakes and desserts.

U.S. Gymnastics Olympic Trials 🤸‍♀️

The United State’s best gymnasts take to the Target Center this weekend to try and solidify their spot on the Olympic team.

When: June 27 - 30

Where: Target Center

Tickets: All session passes are still on sale here. You can also buy individual session on the secondary market at sites like SeatGeek or StubHub.

Who To Watch: All eyes will be on Simone Biles and St. Paul native Suni Lee. Five women will make the Olympic team which will be announced on Sunday.

Watch on TV: If you can’t make it in-person, the Olympic Trials will be streamed live on NBC and Peacock.

🤸‍♀️ TRIVIA: After winning gold at the 2020 Olympics, Suni Lee decided to attend which college where she competed for two seasons?
