Here is what’s happening in the Twin Cities this weekend.

Luminary Loppet 🕯

 

We could be in for quite a bit of snow on Saturday so make sure to plan accordingly!

The Important Details For The Luminary Loppet

  • Date: Saturday, February 8

  • Time: 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM

  • Location: Lake of the Isles, Minneapolis

  • Tickets: $35. Buy here (almost sold out!)

Event Highlights

  • Candlelit walk around Lake of the Isles

  • Over 1,200 luminaries and unique ice features

  • Refreshments along the trail (hot cocoa, s'mores)

  • Luminary Party with food trucks, Utepils Brewing beer, and music

  • Ice pyramid and other unique ice sculptures

  • Performance by Parkbrook Elementary in the Enchanted Forest at 6:30 PM

  • Community singing with Sarina Partridge from 7:30-8:30 PM

Transportation and Logistics

  • Free Metro Transit rides available (survey required)

  • Parking recommended 4-5 blocks away from the lake

  • Credit/debit cards only for on-site purchases

Important Notes

  • No additional lights allowed (flashlights, headlamps)

  • Dogs not permitted

Puppy Bowl XXI Viewing Event at Bassett Hound

Well, the Vikings may not be playing in the Super Bowl this weekend but we have some puppies to help you take your mind off that. Head to Bassett Hound for a puppy friendly Super Bowl watch party
