Trying to avoid the crowds and chaos of Black Friday? You’re probably not alone. It’s going to be pretty chilly on Friday (high of 19 degrees) but there are many parks offering Black Friday deals for you to get out in nature and enjoy the outdoors.

🌳 Minnesota State Parks: Enjoy free entry to all 75 state parks and recreation areas statewide, with special naturalist programs and activities announced closer to the date. More Info

🌳 Anoka County Parks: Enjoy free vehicle entry to various parks like Wargo Nature Center, Bunker Hills Park, and Rice Creek Chain of Lakes Park Reserve from 6:00 AM to half an hour after sunset. More Info

🌳 Dakota Parks: Attend a free open-house event at Thompson County Park with activities like geocaching, scavenger hunts, and a Brick Oven Bus Pizza truck, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. More Info

🌳 North Mississippi Regional Park: Participate in a self-guided nature scavenger hunt, fort building, and meet animals at Carl Kroening Nature Center with a campfire for warmth (registration required). More Info

🌳 Eastman Nature Center: Learn fire-building techniques and enjoy hot beverages over a fire during the "Fire Master" event from 10:00–11:30 AM for $6 per person (registration required). More Info

🌳 Washington County Parks: Visit parks like Big Marine Park Reserve and Lake Elmo Park with free vehicle entry from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. More Info
