What to Expect: This year's Art Shanty Projects promises an immersive experience where artists transform the frozen lake into a temporary, whimsical community. Visitors can explore creative ice huts, participate in interactive art installations, and enjoy performances that blend art, science, and winter wonder.
Accessibility The event is committed to inclusivity, offering wheelchair-accessible paths, kicksleds, ASL interpreters, and accommodations to ensure everyone can enjoy the art village.
➡ Twin Cities Insider Recommendation: Stop by Sebastian Joe’s in Linden Hills for a coffee, grab a cinnamon twist at Great Harvest, then walk down to Lake Harriet to enjoy the Art Shanty Project.
